“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” ~ Hebrews 1:14, NIV
We rarely bring up the subject of Angels in modern-times. Each of us has guardian angels who assist us in our battle against the forces of darkness. They don’t seem to get a lot of credit, but they are a “secret service” force sent to deliver divine protection for God’s people.
It also helps to understand that nothing is allowed to happen to us that God does not allow. The angels could save us from all trouble, but God allows us to suffer in this lifetime. However, our suffering is measured on the scales of divine mercy and justice. God never gives his children more than they can bear while they trust Him with the future:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13, KJV).
Thank God for the Angels who are always there to encourage us, lighten our load, keep us safe, and who help us to endure our sufferings.
