If you haven’t noticed, I rarely comment on SDA church politics. I don’t even comment on National politics. My job is to preach Christ and Him crucified.
I also have a heart to reach out to former Adventists, but as of late they have been trashing me for speaking out in favor of Ellen White and the investigative judgment.
When formers preach the Gospel it is usually watered down to the point of being barely recognizable.
I speak out for those watching and reading that are confused and searching for solid ground. Something I say may come back to them in a future time when they need real answers to real problems.
If you already think you know everything then I give you to God. He is your judge and you will answer to him for your teaching: Right and Wrong.
I can’t change you.
The essense of Gospel Adventist teaching is that we keep the law of God “because” we are saved and never “in order to” be saved.
We work “from” salvation and not “for” salvation. We are not saved by faith and works, but we are saved for good works done in faith and love in the power of the Holy Spirit.
All this is possible because Jesus bore the wrath of God for all sin and satisfied divine law to release us from the penalty of death. We are saved to serve Him for eternity.
