Folks, let us be honest.
I have been hearing that the Sunday law is right around the corner for 40 years now. Understandably, there are Adventists for whom all this is still new.
Do I believe Jesus is coming soon? Absolutely. His coming is much sooner than it was 40 years ago.
Do I believe Jesus is coming in my lifetime? I don’t know.
No one knows the day or the hour. I have come to terms with the fact that I might die before he returns. However, my comfort is that Jesus is the first face I will see when I am resurrected.
Jesus might not come for another 100 years. The timing is up to him. The real question is if you were to die today then where would you spend eternity?
I understand we must all be ready for the final tribulation. We must be able to withstand the assaults of the world against our faith. Only those who are completely in love with God for sending Jesus to be our perfect sacrifice will have the strength to endure.
Everyday counts. Every prayer is on record. Time spent with Jesus is never wasted! Live every day as if it were your last chance to share the gospel.
