The comforting thing about the state of our world is that God is still on the throne. He warned us about being obedient to His will or we would eventually suffer the natural consequences. God could kill off every strain of this Corona Virus, but that would still leave us with the most deadly strain–SIN.
God led me to this verse of scripture:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
This revelation from God given to the people of Israel around 430 years before the birth of Christ is still true for all of His people. We are all part of His creation and He wants to save us from sin, suffering, and death.
If our world would only humble itself and earnestly seek the one and only true God. If it would pray and repent of its rebellion then the King of the Universe would forgive our sins and heal our land. Unfortunately, a majority of the world has rejected Jesus Christ who died for its sins.
The good news is that there is still time to turn to Jesus and accept Him into your heart. Then you will know that you will be in the eternal kingdom with Him where there is no sickness or death. Jesus loves you enough to forgive your sins. He only wants you to love Him in return. You can have the assurance of eternal life as you trust that He died for you.

Well said Stephen. God is easy to love when you know what He has done for us. Trusting Him when everything is crashing around us can be difficult though and that’s where faith comes in.
