This entire incident of family violence by Seth and Heather Day has me sick.
It is not surprising that some Adventist families struggle with anger, depression, and family violence. However the fact that Seth had a problem known to his wife makes this situation worse.
This was not a one time incident that went too far. The family violence had been a problem for a long time. CPS had been called multiple times.
There are times when hard decisions have to be made even if it spells financial hardship and loss of influence. Covering up domestic issues like these is like blowing out a candle when the house is on fire.
Blessings to the high school teacher who intervened. My prayers are for the victim and everyone who are hurt by this incident of abuse.
Seth and Heather Day deserve the jail time. Legally, they are innocent until proven guilty. However, if the facts are true, they were caught doing what never should be done.
