There are two mistakes one can make with Ellen White. First, to ignore her and claim she has nothing to offer. Second, to place her and everything she said and did on equal level with the Holy Scriptures. There is a sweet spot on the middle that yields the best results. It is not an either/or situation. It is Both/And.
She was inspired, but she was meant to be inspirational. She was not perfect, but she was sufficient for her mission to point us to the Holy Scriptures, the plan of salvation, and the message of the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
