The good news of the Bible is that we may have the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ if we trust in His saving grace for the forgiveness of our sins. We don’t have to wait until we give up our bad habits to have that assurance. We no longer have to fear the day of judgment since we already have the final verdict. We simply rest in the completed work of Jesus Christ who bore the wrath of God for our sins.
That is when the Holy Spirit pours the love of God into our hearts and miracles begin to happen. But it all starts with trust in the promise of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who declared, “All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”
